फिर सेवकों ने विशाल पर्वत शिखर के समान ऊँचा, स्वर्णिम मेघों के समान एक रथ तैयार किया। उसमें स्वर्ण-मालाओं से सुशोभित गंधर्व घोड़े जुते हुए थे। वे श्रेष्ठ घोड़े सर्वगुण संपन्न, तेजस्वी, बलवान और अश्व-योग्य गुणों से युक्त थे। उनकी आँखें निर्मल थीं और वे नाना प्रकार के रत्नजटित आभूषणों से सुशोभित थे। रथ में जुते हुए वे सुंदर घोड़े तीव्र गति से चलने वाले थे। उन्हें देखकर ऐसा प्रतीत होता था मानो वे किसी भी क्षण सब कुछ पार कर जाएँगे।
Then the servants prepared a chariot as tall as a huge mountain peak, like a cloud of golden clouds. Gandharva horses adorned with golden garlands were harnessed to it. Those excellent horses, endowed with all virtues, were radiant, strong and had the qualities befitting a horse. Their eyes were clear and they were adorned with various kinds of jeweled ornaments. Those beautiful horses harnessed to the chariot were swift. Looking at them, it seemed as if they would cross everything at any moment.
