पांडवों ने पर्वत शिखरों पर अनेक सरोवर देखे, जो शुद्ध स्फटिक के समान सुन्दर थे। उनमें हंस जैसे श्वेत पंख वाले पक्षी विचरण करते थे और सारस कलरव करते थे। कमल और कुमुदिनी के पुष्पों से सुशोभित वे सरोवर सुखद एवं शीतल जल से परिपूर्ण थे। 72-73.
The Pandavas saw many lakes on the mountain peaks, which were beautiful like pure crystals. White-winged birds like geese roamed around in them and cranes chirped. Those lakes, adorned with lotus and lily flowers, were filled with pleasant and cool water. 72-73.
