द्रौपदी तथा उपर्युक्त श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण भी उनके साथ थे। वे सब लोग पक्षियों के मुख से निकलने वाले अत्यन्त मधुर, सुन्दर, सुनने में सुखदायक, मादक तथा आनन्ददायक शुभ वचनों को सुनते हुए तथा सब ऋतुओं के पुष्पों और फलों से सुशोभित तथा उनके भार से झुके हुए वृक्षों को देखते हुए आगे बढ़ रहे थे। आम, अमड़ा, भव्य नारियल, तेंदू, मुंजातक, गूलर, अनार, नींबू, कटहल, लकुच (बरहर), मोच (केला), खजूर, आंवला, परावत, क्षौद्र, सुन्दर कदम्ब, बेल, कैथ, जामुन, गम्भारी, बेर, पक्कड़, अंजीर, बरगद, पीपल, खजूर, भिलवा, आँवला, हर्रई, बहेड़ा, इंगुद, करोंदा और बड़े-बड़े फलों वाले तिन्दुक - ये तथा अन्य अनेक प्रकार के वृक्ष गन्धमादन की चोटियों पर अमृत के समान स्वादिष्ट फलों से लदे हुए लहरा रहे थे। (यह सब देखकर पांडव आगे बढ़ने लगे।) इसी प्रकार चंपा, अशोक, केतकी, बकुल (मौलशिरी), पुन्नाग (सुल्ताना चंपा), सप्त पर्ण (चितवन), कनेर, केवड़ा, पाताल (पादरी या गुलाब), कुटज, सुंदर मंदार, इंदीवर (नीला कमल), पारिजात, कोविदार, देवदार, शाल, ताल, तमाल, पीपल, हिंगुक आदि वृक्षों को देखते हुए (हींग का पेड़), सेमुल, पलाश, अशोक, शीशम और सरल, पांडव आगे बढ़ रहे थे। 42-52 1/2)

All of them were moving forward listening to the very sweet, beautiful, pleasant to hear, intoxicating and joyful auspicious words coming from the mouths of the birds and seeing the trees decorated with flowers and fruits of all seasons and bent under their weight. Mango, amda, magnificent coconut, tendu, munjatak, fig, pomegranate, lemon, jackfruit, lakuch (barhar), moch (banana), date palm, amlavent, paravat, kshaudra, beautiful kadamba, bael, kaith, jamun, gambhari, plum, pakkad, fig, banyan, peepal, dates, bhilwa, amla, harrai, baheda, ingud, karonda and tinduk with large fruits - these and many other types of trees were swaying on the peaks of Gandhamadana, laden with delicious fruits like nectar. (Seeing all these, the Pandavas started moving forward.)
