राजन! वहाँ पाण्डवों ने गंधमादन पर्वत को निकट से देखा। हिमालय का वह पवित्र पृष्ठ नाना प्रकार के वृक्षों और लताओं से आच्छादित था। वहाँ वृषपर्वा का परम पवित्र आश्रम था, जो जल से सींचे हुए पुष्पित वृक्षों से घिरा हुआ था। शत्रुदमन पाण्डवों ने उस पुण्यात्मा राजा वृषपर्वा के पास जाकर उन्हें बिना किसी कष्ट के प्रणाम किया॥19-21॥
King! There the Pandavas saw the Gandhamadan mountain from close. That sacred back side of the Himalayas was covered with various kinds of trees and creepers. There was the most sacred hermitage of Vrishparva surrounded by flowering trees that grew by irrigating with water. The Shatrudaman Pandavas went to that virtuous King Vrishparva and bowed down to him without any trouble.॥19-21॥
