भरतश्रेष्ठ! परंतु अपने पराक्रम से लोक-लोकान्तरों से भरे हुए उस समुद्र को पार करके मैंने रावण के नगर में देवी के समान तेजस्वी जनकराजनन्दिनी सीता से भेंट की। रघुनाथजी की प्रिय विदेह राजकुमारी सीतादेवी से मिलकर मैंने अटारी, चारदीवारी और नगरद्वार सहित सम्पूर्ण लंकापुरी को जला डाला और वहाँ श्री रामनाम का उद्घोष करके पुनः लौट आया।॥7-9॥
