तथा पुरुषशार्दूल मानुषाश्च परंतप।
सहस्रशो ह्ययुतशो वर्धन्ते सलिलं यथा॥ ३८॥
अनुवाद
हे शत्रुओं को पीड़ा देने वाले पुरुषोत्तम! जैसे वर्षा ऋतु में जल बढ़ता है, वैसे ही मनुष्य भी सहस्र-दस-सहस्र गुना बढ़ने लगे॥38॥
O best of men who torment the enemies! Just as the water rises during the rainy season, similarly the human beings also started increasing in number by thousand and ten thousand times. ॥ 38॥
