उसके जाते ही सरोवर का जल सूख गया। सरोवर को जलहीन देखकर यवक्रीत तुरंत ही समस्त नदियों के पास गया; परंतु उसके जाते ही वे भी सूख गईं॥16॥
As soon as he left, the lake's water dried up. Seeing the lake waterless, Yavakrit immediately went to all the rivers; but as soon as he left, they too dried up.॥ 16॥
