शिष्यों के बीच बैठे हुए महर्षि कहोड़ को ऐसा धिक्कार सुनकर क्रोध आ गया और उन्होंने गर्भस्थ शिशु को शाप दे दिया कि 'अरे! तू गर्भ में ही ऐसी टेढ़ी-मेढ़ी बातें बोल रहा है, इसलिए तेरे आठों अंग टेढ़े हो जाएँगे।'॥11॥
Maharishi Kahod, who was sitting amongst his disciples, became enraged and felt insulted on hearing such rebuke. He cursed the unborn child and said, 'Oh! You are speaking such crooked words while still in the womb, hence you will become crooked in all your eight limbs.'॥ 11॥
