कुछ समय बाद सुजाता गर्भवती हुई। उसका गर्भ अग्नि के समान तेजस्वी था। एक दिन गर्भस्थ शिशु ने स्वाध्याय में तत्पर अपने पिता कहोड़ मुनि से कहा, 'पिताजी! आप सारी रात वेदपाठ करते हुए भी उनका उचित उच्चारण नहीं कर पाते।'॥10॥
After some time Sujata became pregnant. Her foetus was as bright as fire. One day the child in the womb said to his father Kahod Muni who was busy in self-study, 'Father! Even though you recite the Vedas all night long, you are not able to study them properly and with correct pronunciation.'॥10॥
