पति की यह आज्ञा पाकर सुकन्या ने अश्विनीकुमारों से कहा, ‘मेरे पति को सुन्दर और युवा बना दीजिए।’ यह सुनकर अश्विनीकुमारों ने राजकुमारी सुकन्या से कहा, ‘तुम्हारे पति इस जल में प्रवेश करें।’ तब सुन्दर रूप की इच्छा से च्यवन ऋषि शीघ्रतापूर्वक उस सरोवर के जल में प्रवेश कर गए॥16॥
On receiving this command from her husband, Sukanya said to the Aśvinikumaras, 'Please make my husband beautiful and youthful.' On hearing this, the Aśvinikumaras said to Princess Sukanya, 'Your husband should enter this water.' Then the sage Chyavana, desiring a beautiful form, quickly entered the water of that lake.॥ 16॥
