वहाँ जाकर वृष्णियों ने देखा कि पाण्डव भूमि पर सो रहे हैं, उनके शरीर धूल से सने हुए हैं और द्रौपदी भी उस पीड़ा को सहन न कर पाने के कारण अत्यन्त दुःखी हो रही है। यह सब देखकर वे अत्यन्त दुःखी हो गए और करुण स्वर में रोने लगे॥19॥
