उन राक्षसों को शुद्ध हृदय वाले ऋषियों ने अपनी तपस्या से पहले ही लगभग जला दिया था; अतः अपनी पूरी शक्ति लगाने और महानतम प्रयास करने पर भी वे देवताओं के द्वारा मारे गये।
Those demons had already been almost burnt by the sages with pure hearts through their austerities; so, despite putting in all their might and making the greatest efforts, they were killed by the Gods.
