'वेदों में श्रेष्ठ, यशस्वी और विशेषतः पुण्यात्मा पुरुषों द्वारा संसार में धर्म, अर्थ और काम की सृष्टि के लिए जो साधन बताए गए हैं, वे ही सामाजिक रीतियों में प्रकट होते हैं - लोगों द्वारा प्रयुक्त होते हैं और सुसंस्कृत लोगों द्वारा आदरित होते हैं।॥31॥
'The means mentioned in the Vedas for the creation of Dharma, Artha and Kama in the world by the best, famous and especially virtuous men are the ones which manifest in the social customs - are used by the people and are respected by the cultured people.॥ 31॥
