ब्राह्मणा ऊचु:
कथं नु राजा धर्मात्मा वने वसति निर्जने।
तस्यानुजाश्च ते नित्यं कृष्णा च द्रुपदात्मजा॥
सुखार्हापि च दु:खार्ता कथं वसति सा वने॥
अनुवाद
ब्राह्मणों ने कहा, "हाय! धर्मात्मा राजा युधिष्ठिर और उनके भाई निर्जन वन में कैसे रहेंगे? और द्रुपद की पुत्री कृष्णा तो केवल सुख भोगने के योग्य है, वह दुःख से आक्रांत होकर वन में कैसे रहेगी?"
The Brahmins said, "Alas! How will the righteous king Yudhishthira and his brothers live in the deserted forest? And Drupada's daughter Krishna is fit only to enjoy happiness, how will she live in the forest, overwhelmed with sorrow?"
