रामे वनं गते दु:खाद्धृतराज्ये सलक्ष्मणे॥
तदवस्थं बभूवार्तमद्येदं गजसाह्वयम्।
गते पार्थे वनं दु:खाद्धृतराज्ये सहानुजै:॥
अनुवाद
जैसे त्रेता युग में राज्य हरण हो जाने पर और श्री रामचन्द्रजी लक्ष्मण सहित वन के लिए प्रस्थान कर गए थे, तब अयोध्या नगरी शोक से अत्यंत व्यथित हो गई थी और अत्यंत बुरी स्थिति में पहुँच गई थी, वैसी ही दशा आज हमारे हस्तिनापुर की हो गई है, जब राज्य हरण हो जाने पर युधिष्ठिर अपने भाइयों सहित वन के लिए प्रस्थान कर गए थे।
Just as in Treta Yuga, when the kingdom was abducted and Shri Ramchandraji along with Lakshman left for the forest, the city of Ayodhya became extremely distressed with grief and reached a very bad state, the same condition has happened to our Hastinapur today when Yudhishthir left for the forest along with his brothers after the kingdom was abducted.
