यत्कृतेऽहमिदं प्राप्ता तेषां वर्षे चतुर्दशे।
हतपत्यो हतसुता हतबन्धुजनप्रिया:॥ २०॥
बहुशोणितदिग्धाङ्गॺो मुक्तकेशॺो रजस्वला:।
एवं कृतोदका भार्या: प्रवेक्ष्यन्ति गजाह्वयम्॥ २१॥
अनुवाद
जिनके अन्याय के कारण आज मैं इस दशा को प्राप्त हुआ हूँ, उनकी पत्नियाँ भी आज से चौदहवें वर्ष में अपने पतियों, पुत्रों और सम्बन्धियों के मारे जाने पर उनके शवों पर लोट-लोटकर विलाप करेंगी और अपने शरीर पर रक्त और धूल लगाकर, केश खोले हुए, अपने सम्बन्धियों को त्यागकर उसी प्रकार हस्तिनापुर में प्रवेश करेंगी।॥20-21॥
'The wives of those due to whose injustice I have reached this condition today, in the fourteenth year from today, will also weep rolling on the dead bodies of their husbands, sons and relatives after being killed and with blood and dust on their bodies, with their hair open, they will abandon their relatives and enter Hastinapur in the same manner.'॥ 20-21॥
