उस समय कुन्तीपुत्र सव्यसाची अर्जुन राजा के पीछे-पीछे भ्रमण करते हुए रेत बिखेर रहे थे, अतः उन्होंने शत्रुओं पर बाणों की वर्षा करने की इच्छा प्रकट की। भारत! जैसे इस समय उनके द्वारा फेंके गए रेत के कण आपस में लिपटे बिना निरन्तर गिरते रहते हैं, वैसे ही वे शत्रुओं पर असंख्य बाणों की वर्षा करेंगे, जो आपस में लिपटे नहीं रहेंगे।॥15-16॥
At that time, Arjuna, son of Kunti, Savyasachi, while travelling behind the king, was spreading sand, and thus he expressed his desire to shower arrows on the enemies. Bhaarat! Just as the sand particles thrown by him at this time fall continuously without getting attached to each other, in the same way he will shower on the enemies innumerable arrows, which will not get attached to each other.॥15-16॥
