अनाक्रान्तं प्रपद्यन्तु सेव्यमानं त्यजन्तु च।
तृणमाषफलादानां देशांस्त्यक्त्वा मृगद्विजा:॥
वयं पार्थैर्वने सम्यक् सह वत्स्याम निर्वृता:। |

| हम ही घास (सब्जियाँ), अन्न और फल खाते हैं। जंगल के शिकारी पशु-पक्षी हमारे निवास स्थान छोड़ दें। उन्हें ऐसे स्थानों पर आश्रय लेना चाहिए जहाँ हम नहीं जाते और वे उन स्थानों को छोड़ दें जिनका हम उपयोग करते हैं। हम कुंतीपुत्रों के साथ जंगल में सुखपूर्वक रहेंगे। |

| We are the ones who use grass (vegetables), food and fruits. The predatory animals and birds of the forest should leave our places of residence. They should take shelter in such places where we do not go and they should leave those places which we use. We will live happily in the forest with the sons of Kunti. |
