‘जैसे खाली तिल बोने पर फल नहीं देते, जैसे केवल खाल वाला मृग व्यर्थ है और जैसे बिना माजूफल के घास व्यर्थ है, उसी प्रकार समस्त पाण्डवों का जीवन व्यर्थ हो गया है॥13॥
‘Just as empty sesame seeds do not yield any fruit when sown, just as deer with only skin are useless and just as grass without starch is useless, in the same way the lives of all the Pandavas have become futile.॥ 13॥
