त्रयोदशं च सजने अज्ञाता: परिवत्सरम्।
ज्ञाताश्च पुनरन्यानि वने वर्षाणि द्वादश॥ १९॥
निवसेम वयं ते वा तथा द्यूतं प्रवर्तताम्।
अक्षानुप्त्वा पुनर्द्यूतमिदं कुर्वन्तु पाण्डवा:॥ २०॥
अनुवाद
तेरहवें वर्ष में, लोगों की जानकारी से दूर किसी नगर में निवास करें। यदि तेरहवें वर्ष में उन्हें किसी का पता चल जाए, तो उन्हें पुनः बारह वर्ष का वनवास हो जाए। यदि हम हार जाएँ, तो हम यह करें और यदि वे हार जाएँ, तो वे वह करें। इस शर्त पर, जुए का खेल पुनः शुरू हो। पांडव पासे फेंककर जुआ खेलें।
In the thirteenth year, live in a city far away from the knowledge of people. If in the thirteenth year, they come to the knowledge of anyone, then they should again go into exile for twelve years. If we lose, we should do this and if they lose, then they should do that. On this condition, the game of gambling should begin again. The Pandavas should play gambling by throwing dice.
