पितृभि: सह सालोक्यं मा स्म गच्छेद् वृकोदर:।
यद्येतमूरुं गदया न भिन्द्यां ते महाहवे॥ १४॥
अनुवाद
‘दुर्योधन! यदि मैं इस महायुद्ध में अपनी गदा से तुम्हारी यह जाँघ न तोड़ दूँ, तो मैं भीमसेन अपने पूर्वजों के समान पुण्य लोकों को प्राप्त न कर सकूँगा।’ ॥14॥
'Duryodhan! If I do not break this thigh of yours with my mace in this great war, then I, Bhimasena, will not be able to attain the virtuous worlds like my ancestors.' ॥ 14॥
