वैशम्पायन कहते हैं - जनमेजय! युधिष्ठिर आदि कुन्तीपुत्र उस सभा में पहुँचकर सब राजाओं से मिले। आयु के अनुसार एक-एक करके सब पूज्य राजाओं का आदर-सत्कार करके उनसे मिलकर वे सुन्दर कालीनों से बिछे हुए अद्वितीय आसनों पर बैठ गए।
