इन्द्र ने नमुचि का विश्वास जीत लिया और कभी शत्रुता न करने का वचन देकर अवसर पाकर उसका सिर काट डाला। हे प्रिये! शत्रुओं के साथ सदैव ऐसा ही व्यवहार किया जाता है। इन्द्र को भी यही स्वीकार्य है॥13॥
Indra gained the trust of Namuchi by promising never to be hostile and when he found an opportunity, he beheaded him. O dear! This is the way one has always behaved with enemies. This is acceptable to Indra also.॥13॥
