गोघ्न: स्त्रीघ्नश्च सन् भीष्म त्वद्वाक्याद् यदि पूज्यते।
एवंभूतश्च यो भीष्म कथं संस्तवमर्हति॥ १६॥

भीष्म! यदि आपके कहने पर यह कृष्ण गौहत्यारा और स्त्रीहत्यारा होते हुए भी पूजित हो रहा है, तो आपके धर्म-ज्ञान की सीमा समाप्त हो गई है। आप ही बताइए, जो इन दोनों प्रकार की हत्याओं का दोषी है, वह प्रशंसा का अधिकारी कैसे हो सकता है?॥16॥
Bhishma! If on your advice this Krishna is being worshipped despite being a cow killer and a woman killer, then your knowledge of religion has reached its limit. You tell me, how can a person who is guilty of both these types of murders be entitled to be praised?॥16॥
