वे मनुष्यों को सुरक्षा प्रदान करने वाले हैं। वे मधुसूदन नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं। उन्होंने ही शकटासुर, यमलार्जुन और पूतना का उनके नाभिस्थानों पर प्रहार करके वध किया था।
He is the one who gives protection to human beings. He is famous by the name Madhusudan. He is the one who killed Shakatasur, Yamalarjun and Putana by attacking their vital spots.
