दशवर्षसहस्राणि शतानि दश पञ्च च।
जपोपवासैस्तस्यासीत् स्थाणुर्मौनव्रतो दृढ:॥

साढ़े ग्यारह हजार वर्षों तक पूर्वोक्त तप के निमित्त मन्त्र जप और उपवास में लगे रहकर वे काठ के ठूँठ के समान अविचल हो गये और दृढ़तापूर्वक मौनव्रत का पालन करने लगे।
By engaging in the chanting of mantras and fasting for the purpose of the aforesaid penance for eleven and a half thousand years, he became as unshakeable as a stump of wood and firmly observed the vow of silence.
