भगवान नारायण और ब्रह्मा दोनों ही उस जल के अन्दर हजारों वर्षों तक सोते रहे; किन्तु कभी भी तनिक भी काँपते नहीं थे। तत्पश्चात्, बहुत समय बीतने पर मधु और कैटभ दोनों दैत्य उसी स्थान पर पहुँचे जहाँ ब्रह्मा जी स्थित थे।
Both Lord Narayana and Brahma slept inside that water for thousands of years; but never trembled even a little. Thereafter, after a long period of time, both the demons Madhu and Kaitabh reached the same place where Brahma was situated.
