वैश्यानां धान्यधनवाञ्छूद्राणामेव जन्मत:।
पूज्यतायां च गोविन्दे हेतू द्वावपि संस्थितौ॥ १८॥

वैश्यों में वही सबसे अधिक पूजनीय है, जो धन-धान्य से युक्त है। शूद्रों में भी जन्म समय को ध्यान में रखते हुए, जो आयु में बड़ा है, वही पूजनीय माना जाता है। ये दोनों कारण ही श्रीकृष्ण के सर्वाधिक पूजनीय होने में विद्यमान हैं॥18॥
Among the Vaishyas, he is the most respected, who is rich in wealth and grains. Only among the Shudras, keeping in view the time of birth, he who is older in age is considered worthy of worship. Both these reasons are present in Shri Krishna being the most worship-worthy.॥18॥
