नायं युक्त: समाचार: पाण्डवेषु महात्मसु।
यत् कामात् पुण्डरीकाक्षं पाण्डवार्चितवानसि॥ २॥
बाला यूयं न जानीध्वं धर्म: सूक्ष्मो हि पाण्डवा:।
अयं च स्मृत्यतिक्रान्तो ह्यापगेयोऽल्पदर्शन:॥ ३॥ |

| हे पाण्डवों! यह विपरीत आचरण कभी भी उचित नहीं है। हे पाण्डुपुत्र! तुमने स्वार्थवश कमलनेत्र श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा की है। हे पाण्डवों! तुम अभी बालक हो। तुम धर्म को नहीं जानते, क्योंकि धर्म का स्वरूप अत्यन्त सूक्ष्म है। ये गंगापुत्र भीष्म बहुत वृद्ध हो गए हैं। अब इनकी स्मृति क्षीण हो गई है। इनकी बुद्धि और बुद्धि भी अत्यन्त दुर्बल हो गई है (इसीलिए इन्होंने श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा करने की स्वीकृति दी है)।॥2-3॥ |
