घटोत्कच मेरु पर्वत के शिखर के समान दिखाई देता था। उसे आते देख पाण्डवपुत्र सहदेव ने उसे अपनी दोनों भुजाओं में भर लिया और बार-बार उसका मस्तक सूंघा। तत्पश्चात सहदेव अपने मन्त्रियों सहित उसका स्वागत करके अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हुए और इस प्रकार बोले।
Ghatotkach looked like the peak of Mount Meru. Seeing him coming, Pandava's son Sahadeva embraced him in both his arms and smelt his forehead repeatedly. After that, Sahadeva along with his ministers were very happy after welcoming him and spoke thus.
