सुराष्ट्रविषयस्थश्च प्रेषयामास रुक्मिणे॥ ६२॥
राज्ञे भोजकटस्थाय महामात्राय धीमते।
भीष्मकाय स धर्मात्मा साक्षादिन्द्रसखाय वै॥ ६३॥
स चास्य प्रतिजग्राह ससुत: शासनं तदा।
प्रीतिपूर्वं महाराज वासुदेवमवेक्ष्य च॥ ६४॥
तत: स रत्नान्यादाय पुन: प्रायाद् युधाम्पति:।
अनुवाद
महाराज! पुण्यात्मा सहदेव ने सुराष्ट्र में रहकर भोजकट निवासी रुक्मी और विशाल राज्य के अधिपति परम बुद्धिमान इन्द्रसखा भीष्मक के पास दूत भेजा। वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण पर दृष्टि रखते हुए भीष्म ने अपने पुत्र सहित प्रेमपूर्वक सहदेव का राज्य स्वीकार किया। तत्पश्चात, योद्धाओं के सेनापति सहदेव वहाँ से रत्नों का दान लेकर पुनः आगे बढ़े। 62—64 1/2॥
Maharaj! Staying in Surashtra, the virtuous Sahadeva sent a messenger to Rukmi, the resident of Bhojkat, and the most intelligent Indrasakha Bhishmak, the ruler of the vast kingdom. Keeping an eye on Vasudevanandan Shri Krishna, Bhishma along with his son lovingly accepted the rule of Sahadev. Thereafter, Sahadeva, the commander of the warriors, moved ahead again taking a gift of gems from there. 62—64 1/2॥
