एवमग्निर्वरं प्रादात् स्त्रीणामप्रतिवारणे।
वरिण्यस्तत्र नार्यो हि यथेष्टं विचरन्त्युत॥ ३८॥

अग्निदेव ने स्त्रियों को यह वरदान दिया था कि कोई भी स्त्रियों को केवल विरोध के कारण अपना पति चुनने से नहीं रोक सकता। इसी कारण वहाँ की स्त्रियाँ स्वेच्छा से अपना पति चुनने के लिए घूमती रहती थीं। 38.
Agni Dev had given this boon to the women that no one can stop the women from choosing their own husbands just because of their opposition. Due to this the women there used to roam around to choose their husbands voluntarily. 38.
