वहाँ से आगे बढ़कर भरतवंश के महाबली भीमसेन ने थोड़े ही समय में गण्डक (गण्डकी नदी के तट पर) और विदेह (मिथिला) देशों को जीतकर दर्शन देश को अपने अधीन कर लिया। वहाँ दशार्ण के राजा सुधर्मा ने बिना किसी शस्त्र के भीमसेन के साथ महान् युद्ध किया। उन दोनों का वह मल्लयुद्ध अत्यन्त विस्मयकारी था।
Going ahead from there, that great brave man of Bharatvansh, Bhima, conquered the countries of Gandak (on the banks of river Gandaki) and Videha (Mithila) in a short time and took the country of Darshan under his control. There King Sudharma of Dasharna fought a great battle with Bhimsen without any weapon. That wrestling match between them was awe-inspiring. 4-5॥
