Kunti's son Arjuna was one who increased his glory. He was wearing ornaments. He was a brave warrior, had a chariot, was well-equipped with servants and was powerful. He was adorned with armour and a beautiful crown on his head. He was ready for war with his waist girded and all kinds of necessary materials were with him. He was delicate, very patient, full of brilliance, extremely excellent, as valiant as Indra, a killer of enemies and one who could stop the movement of the elephants of the enemies. Seeing him, the women of the place assumed that in the form of this brave man, the personified power of Kartikeya had come.
