आगे जाकर उन्होंने पर्वतों के स्वामी गिरिप्रवर महामेरु को देखा, जो दिव्य और स्वर्णमय है। उसमें चार प्रकार के रंग दिखाई देते हैं। वहाँ तक पहुँचना किसी के लिए भी बहुत कठिन है। उसकी लंबाई एक लाख योजन है। वह परम उत्तम मेरु पर्वत प्रकाश के विशाल पिंड के समान चमकता है और अपने स्वर्णिम चमकते शिखरों से सूर्य की प्रभा को भी तुच्छ जानता है। सुवर्ण से विभूषित उस दिव्य पर्वत की सेवा देवता और गंधर्व करते हैं। सिद्ध और चारण भी वहाँ प्रतिदिन निवास करते हैं। उस पर्वत पर सदैव फल-फूलों की भरमार रहती है। उसकी ऊँचाई का कोई माप नहीं है। अधर्मी लोग उस पर्वत को छू भी नहीं सकते।
Going further, he saw the lord of mountains, Giripravar Mahameru, which is divine and golden. Four types of colours can be seen in it. It is very difficult for anyone to reach there. Its length is one lakh yojanas. That most excellent Mount Meru shines like a great mass of light and with its golden shining peaks, it disdains the sun's glow. That divine mountain adorned with gold is served by gods and Gandharvas. Siddhas and Charans also live there daily. There is always abundance of fruits and flowers on that mountain. There is no measurement of its height. Unrighteous people cannot touch that mountain.
