वैशम्पायन उवाच
एवमुक्त्वा जरासंध: सहदेवाभिषेचनम्।
आज्ञापयत् तदा राजा युयुत्सुर्भीमकर्मभि:॥ ३१॥
अनुवाद
वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं: जनमेजय! ऐसा कहकर राजा जरासन्ध ने उन तीनों घोर कर्म करने वाले वीरों से युद्ध करने की इच्छा से अपने पुत्र सहदेव का राज्याभिषेक करने की आज्ञा दी।
Vaishmpayana says: Janamejaya! Having said this, King Jarasandha, desiring a battle with those three heroes who had committed terrible deeds, ordered the coronation of his son Sahadeva.
