बिभ्रत: क्षात्रमोजश्च ब्राह्मण्यं प्रतिजानथ।
एवं विरागवसना बहिर्माल्यानुलेपना:।
सत्यं वदत के यूयं सत्यं राजसु शोभते॥ ४४॥ |

| तुम लोग क्षत्रिय का वैभव धारण करते हो, परन्तु ब्राह्मण होने का ढोंग करते हो। तुम कौन हो जो अकारण ही नाना प्रकार के वस्त्र धारण करते हो, माला और चंदन लगाते हो? मुझे सत्य बताओ। राजाओं में सत्य ही शोभा देता है॥ 44॥ |
