मनु ने मगधवासियों को मेघों के लिए अपरिहार्य बना दिया है; (इसलिए मेघ वहाँ सदैव समय पर पर्याप्त वर्षा करते हैं।) चण्डकौशिक ऋषि और मणिमान सर्प ने भी मगध को आशीर्वाद दिया है॥10॥
Manu has made the residents of Magadha indispensable for the clouds; (therefore the clouds always bring sufficient rain there at the right time.) The sage Chandakaushik and the snake Maniman have also blessed Magadha.॥10॥
