भरत! उस शत्रुता के कारण बलवान मगधराज ने अपनी गदा को निन्यानवे बार घुमाकर गिरिव्रज से मथुरा की ओर फेंका। उन दिनों अद्भुत कर्म करने वाले श्रीकृष्ण मथुरा में ही रहते थे। वह उत्तम गदा निन्यानवे योजन दूर मथुरा में गिरी॥23-24॥
Bhaarat! Due to that enmity, the powerful Magadhraj swung his mace ninety-nine times and threw it from Girivraj towards Mathura. In those days, Shri Krishna, who performed amazing deeds, lived in Mathura itself. That excellent mace fell ninety-nine yojanas away in Mathura.॥23-24॥
