क्रोध और अभिमान से रहित होकर राजा युधिष्ठिर ने अपने सेवकों को आदेश दिया कि जो भी वस्तुएँ देने योग्य हों, उन्हें दान कर दो, अथवा समस्त प्रजा का ऋण चुका दो। उनके राज्य में कोई भी इन शब्दों के अतिरिक्त कुछ सुन नहीं सकता था, 'धर्मराज! आप धन्य हैं। हे धर्मस्वरूप युधिष्ठिर, मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ!'
Devoid of anger and pride, King Yudhishthira ordered his servants to give away all the things that were worth giving to everyone or pay off the debt of all the people. In his kingdom, no one could hear anything except the words, 'Dharmaraj! You are blessed. O Yudhishthira who is the embodiment of Dharma, I salute you!'
