देश-देशान्तर के श्रेष्ठ वैश्यों सहित अन्य राजागण धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर को प्रसन्न करने, उन्हें कर देने, अपने उपार्जित धन और रत्न आदि दान देने तथा संधि, युद्ध आदि छः कार्यों में उनकी सहायता करने के लिए उनके पास आते थे। धर्म में तत्पर रहने वाले राजा युधिष्ठिर के राज्यकाल में लोभी और राजसिक लोग इच्छानुसार धन आदि भोगने लगे, फिर भी उनका देश दिन-प्रतिदिन समृद्ध होने लगा।
Other kings along with the noble Vaishyas of different countries used to come to Dharmaraja Yudhishthir to please him, to pay him taxes, to give him gifts of their earned wealth and precious stones etc. and to help him in six tasks like treaty, war etc. During the reign of King Yudhishthir, who was always devoted to Dharma, his country started prospering day by day in spite of the greedy and rajasic people enjoying wealth etc. as per their will. 15-16 1/2.
