तदर्धं पादशेषं वा वित्तशाठ्यविवर्जितम्।
यद् यदेवात्मनोऽभीष्टं तत् तद् देयं द्विजातये॥ ७९॥ |

| यदि यह संभव न हो तो सबको सवा पल सोना दान करें और यदि यह भी संभव न हो तो सवा पल सोना दान करें; किन्तु धन होने पर कंजूसी नहीं करनी चाहिए। जो वस्तु प्रिय हो, वही ब्राह्मण को दान में देनी चाहिए। |
