चिता की प्रज्वलित अग्नि में सोए हुए वीर वसुदेव पुत्र के साथ उसकी चारों पत्नियाँ भी, जैसा कि ऊपर कहा गया है, चिता पर बैठकर उसके साथ ही भस्म हो गईं और अपने पतियों के धाम को प्राप्त हुईं॥ 24॥
Along with the valiant son of Vasudev, who was sleeping in the blazing fire of the funeral pyre, his four wives, as mentioned above, also sat on the pyre and became ashes along with him and attained the abode of their husbands.॥ 24॥
