अवधीत् पितरं पुत्र: पिता पुत्रं च भारत॥ ४१॥
मत्ता: परिपतन्ति स्म योधयन्त: परस्परम्।
पतङ्गा इव चाग्नौ ते निपेतु: कुकुरान्धका:॥ ४२॥ |

| हे भरतपुत्र! उस मूसल से पिता ने पुत्र को और पुत्र ने पिता को मार डाला। जैसे पतंगे आग में कूद पड़ते हैं, उसी प्रकार कुत्ते और अंधक कुल के लोग आपस में लड़ पड़े और उन्मत्त होकर एक दूसरे पर आक्रमण करने लगे॥41-42॥ |

| O son of Bharat! With that pestle the father killed the son and the son killed the father. Just as moths jump into the fire, in the same way the people of the clan of dogs and Andhakas fought with each other and attacked each other in a frenzy. ॥ 41-42॥ |
