इसके पूर्ण होने पर यह राजा धृतराष्ट्र गांधारी के साथ कुबेर के लोक में जाएगा और वहाँ राजा कुबेर द्वारा सम्मानित होकर इच्छानुसार चलने वाले विमान पर विराजमान होगा, दिव्य वस्त्राभूषणों से विभूषित होगा तथा देवता, गंधर्व और राक्षस लोकों में इच्छानुसार विचरण करेगा। ऋषिपुत्र महाभाग धर्मात्मा धृतराष्ट्र के समस्त पाप उसकी तपस्या के प्रभाव से भस्म हो जाएँगे। राजन! आप मुझसे जो प्रश्न पूछ रहे थे, उसका यही उत्तर है। 33-35॥
