जो ब्राह्मण प्रतिदिन तर्पण करता है, सदा जनेऊ धारण करता है, प्रतिदिन स्वाध्याय में तत्पर रहता है, शूद्रों का अन्न नहीं खाता, केवल ऋतुकाल में ही स्त्री के साथ समागम करता है तथा यथाविधि अग्निहोत्र करता है, वह ब्राह्मण दूसरों का उद्धार करने में समर्थ है।
The Brahmin who makes offerings daily, always wears the sacred thread, devotes himself to self-study every day, does not eat food belonging to Shudras, has intercourse with his wife only during the season and performs Agnihotra as per the rituals, that Brahmin is capable of saving others.
