हलकृष्टा मही देया सबीजा सस्यमालिनी।
अथवा सोदका देया दरिद्राय द्विजातये॥
अनुवाद
जिस भूमि पर हल चलाकर बीज बोए गए हों तथा हरी-भरी फसलें उग रही हों, उसे किसी गरीब ब्राह्मण को दे देना चाहिए अथवा जिस भूमि पर पानी उपलब्ध हो, उसे दान कर देना चाहिए।
The land in which the seeds have been sown after ploughing and where lush green crops are growing should be given to a poor Brahmin or the land which has availability of water should be donated.
