पिता तु मे वसून् गत्वा त्वदर्थे समयाचत॥ १६॥

अनुवाद
वह तुरन्त वसुओं के पास गया और उन्हें बार-बार प्रसन्न करके उनसे तुम्हारे लिए क्षमा मांगने लगा। तब वसुओं ने उससे इस प्रकार कहा -॥16 1/2॥
He immediately went to the Vasus and started pleasing them again and again and asking for forgiveness from them for you. Then the Vasus spoke to him in this manner -॥ 16 1/2॥
