इन इन्द्रियों में पाँच ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ और पाँच कर्मेन्द्रियाँ हैं। वस्तुतः कान आदि पाँच ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ कहलाती हैं और उनसे भिन्न शेष पाँच कर्मेन्द्रियाँ कर्मेन्द्रियाँ कहलाती हैं। मन, इन्द्रियों और कर्मेन्द्रियों दोनों से संबंधित है और बुद्धि बारहवीं है।॥15-16॥
Among these senses, there are five sense organs and five organs of action. In fact, the five sense organs like ears etc. are called sense organs and the remaining five sense organs apart from them are called organs of action.
