वह देहाभिमानी आत्मा गार्हपत्य अग्नि है। उससे उत्पन्न होने वाली दूसरी अग्नि मन है। मन आह्वानी अग्नि है। उसमें पूर्वोक्त आहुति दी जाती है।॥8॥
That body-proud soul is the Garhapatya fire. The other fire that emerges from it is the mind. The mind is the Aahwaaniya Agni. The aforesaid offerings are offered in it.॥ 8॥
